I Make Up Worlds – The Problem with ‘Boys Will Be Boys’.
An interesting parallel. I’ve always thought that parents needed to accept responsibility for at least some of the violence against women problem. But especially the moms – their action (and inaction) has a profound influence on boys’ attitudes and behaviour.
You know when you have a puppy and people warn you not to let it do anything as a puppy that you don’t want it doing as an adult?
Newsflash:
That applies to children too!
Here’s another way to look at it: If a grown-up you didn’t know behaved like your kid is behaving now… would you think it was OK?
