{"id":7801,"date":"2025-07-04T08:44:43","date_gmt":"2025-07-04T14:44:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/minkhollow.ca\/beckerblog\/?p=7801"},"modified":"2025-07-04T08:45:18","modified_gmt":"2025-07-04T14:45:18","slug":"time-for-an-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/minkhollow.ca\/beckerblog\/2025\/07\/04\/time-for-an-update\/","title":{"rendered":"Time for an Update&#8230;."},"content":{"rendered":"<span class=\"span-reading-time rt-reading-time\" style=\"display: block;\"><span class=\"rt-label rt-prefix\">Approximate Reading Time: <\/span> <span class=\"rt-time\"> &lt; 1<\/span> <span class=\"rt-label rt-postfix\">minute<\/span><\/span><p>Big things have been happening in my personal life.<\/p>\n<p>For now, I thought a simple update would be a good place to start.<\/p>\n<p>At 65 years old, I learned that I&#8217;m Autistic.<br \/>\nThat explains a LOT.<br \/>\nThis has prompted lots and lots of looking back and thinking &#8220;OH,\u00a0<em><strong>that&#8217;s<\/strong><\/em> why!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m getting a divorce (after 43 years of marriage).<br \/>\nI finally realized that Mr. Hyde was the real one, and Dr. Jekyll was the act.<br \/>\nMore on that in future posts.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-7805 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/minkhollow.ca\/beckerblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/2025-07-01-17-16_009-s-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/minkhollow.ca\/beckerblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/2025-07-01-17-16_009-s-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/minkhollow.ca\/beckerblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/2025-07-01-17-16_009-s-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/minkhollow.ca\/beckerblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/2025-07-01-17-16_009-s-400x300.jpg 400w, https:\/\/minkhollow.ca\/beckerblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/2025-07-01-17-16_009-s.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>I got a new puppy &#8211; a Golden Retriever.<br \/>\nMy soon-to-be ex thought it was a replacement for him (of course he would).<br \/>\nI have no need to replace him.<br \/>\nThe puppy is a replacement for my aging Rottie, Gadget.<br \/>\nMore on that later too.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m working on a new book about my farm experiences.
