There is a separate set of photos for each breed of duck, one that includes a mixture of babies as well as mixed babies (i.e. those who are crosses), and one from The Creative Learning Preschool, who was kind enough to send us a set of photos they did in 2003. The other duck albums are near the bottom.

Three weeks old. The one in the foreground is an appleyard.	Appleyard babies - not quite a week old.	Ages one to three weeks.	Ducklings usually get along quite well - they rarely pick on each other.
The older ducklings have been moved outside. These guys are about 5 weeks old.		The two on the left are chinooks - one has a small crest on his head. The one on the right is an appleyard.	Little guys get little pools. There is a flat brick in the pool to make sure everyone can get out easily.
	Ahab in retirement - 2005. He is my oldest bird - hatched in 1991.	Peggy in retirement - 2005. Aged 14.	Winter 2007 - the new rottie pup, Digit loves to play in the duck yard.
Notice the birds are all keeping their distance. He will learn to respect them (he may even learn to herd them with me) but for now we concentrate on teaching Digit not to chase the birds.
