This is VERY important.<\/div>\n
It’s why, when I teach CS, I focus on the kinds of skills and concepts that *I* still find useful, 30+years \/after\/ my degree.<\/div>\n
THOSE are the core concepts.<\/div>\n
I am NOT training people for jobs.
\nI have NO idea what kinds of jobs they will find.
\nThe specific applications that are in use now will change.
