They found that more of the children knew how to play a computer game than swim or ride a bike, and that more pre-schoolers knew how to use a\u00a0smartphone than tie their shoelaces.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Interesting\u2026..<\/p>\n<p>Once we develop the hoverchair, those kids will be all set\u2026 \u00a0(<a href=\"http:\/\/pixar.wikia.com\/Axiom\">http:\/\/pixar.wikia.com\/Axiom<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/minkhollow.ca\/beckerblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/adam-geese.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1883\" title=\"adam-geese\" src=\"http:\/\/minkhollow.ca\/beckerblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/adam-geese-300x210.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"210\" srcset=\"http:\/\/minkhollow.ca\/beckerblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/adam-geese-300x210.png 300w, http:\/\/minkhollow.ca\/beckerblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/adam-geese.png 648w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Srsly, I don\u2019t see anything wrong with little tykes knowing how to use the technology that surrounds them, so long as there is balance. In other words they should <em><strong>also <\/strong><\/em>know: how to play in the dirt, climb trees, build forts, and be a duck. They should know what a worm feels like in your hand, how to make a snow-angel, what happens when you kick a dandelion in seed, how to make a snapdragon talk, and much, much more.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To these kids, the tablet is NOT \u201ctechnology\u201d, it is merely part of their world.
