They are yummy and there are few meat-eaters who would refuse an opportunity to eat rabbit.<em> (NOTE: this is not an animal welfare post &#8211; I&#8217;m building a metaphor &#8211; so bear with me)<\/em><br \/>\nThe way to make a frightened rabbit settle when holding it is to hold it tighter.<br \/>\nThey feel secure cradled in your arms with their heads tucked tightly under your arm.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/minkhollow.ca\/beckerblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/2011-11-05-11-12-46c.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1872\" title=\"2011-11-05-11-12-46c\" src=\"http:\/\/minkhollow.ca\/beckerblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/2011-11-05-11-12-46c-226x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"226\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/minkhollow.ca\/beckerblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/2011-11-05-11-12-46c-226x300.jpg 226w, http:\/\/minkhollow.ca\/beckerblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/2011-11-05-11-12-46c.jpg 336w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 226px) 100vw, 226px\" \/><\/a>Cats, on the other hand, are predators.<\/p>\n<p>They may be cautious, but they are much less easily frightened.
