Most of the talk is not about that (the relevant slide is #7), but we really need to get over being impressed by all the gadgets and start looking at what they are, what they can do, and what we need to know in order to use them effectively. Almost always,\u00a0 <em><strong>you need to know more than how to turn it on and press play.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Sometimes we defer to the &#8216;superior savvy&#8217; of students because it saves us having to learn it ourselves. We don&#8217;t actually look at what they are doing and how they are doing it.
